Hen Berwyn
A cantankerous old quar from the Black Hills above the March, Hen Berwyn is constantly drunk and constantly angry at someone. Crusader, Royalist, or Neutral, it makes no difference to Hen. No one is quite sure why he is so belligerent, or why he carries a pipe that he never has any leaf for, though many theories center around the still Old Hen keeps behind his shack. Most decent folk simply stay out of his way, but he does have his uses to the Militia. He knows the hills as few others do, and while he may not have any tobacco, Old Hen always has plenty of bullets and is never adverse to a bit of bloodshed.
