Jolly Uncle Porrip
Murlew Porrip is one of the favorite uncles of his clan, quick with
pocket money for his young nephews and nieces. Most of the
military-aged men of his family are deployed to the bleeding fronts,
and as the war presses closer to home, he finds himself serving in the
militia for the honor of the Murlews. His Traeth-mates greatly enjoy
his presence; there is no one else more generous with a nip from the
flask or a quid of tobacco in the entire company.
