These close bonded units, often comprised of close and distant family members serve the critical role on the battlefield of pinning down and hampering enemy forces. Off the field one is likely to see them posted on patrols closer to the center of villages so they can redeploy where needed. Of course being close to the heart of things they often find themselves making short courier runs between the village temple and various merchants in the market area.
